BHEL gets $1.1 bln power plant order

India's largest power equipment maker Bharat Heavy Electricals said on Friday it has secured a Rs 50.4 billion($1.07 billion) order from Jindal Power to build a 2,400 megawatts power plant in the central Indian state of Chattisgarh. Under the agreement, BHEL will set up four units of 600 MW each for the plant.
