India's record government borrowing for the fiscal year starting April 1 is unlikely to be a huge challenge, Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Deputy Governor Subir Gokarn said on Thursday. India is budgeted to borrow a gross 4.57 trillion rupees ($100 billion) in 2010/11, up from 4.51 trillion rupees in the current fiscal year. |
