Rupee at near 1-week high

Rupee strengthened to its highest in nearly a week on Monday, boosted by gains in the local sharemarket but traders would continue to watch the dollar's moves versus majors for direction. Rupee was at 46.15/16 per dollar after touching 46.07, its highest since June 22 and 0.3 percent above its close of 46.27/28 on Friday.
