PFC to raise Rs. 300-400 cr. via bonds

Power Finance Corporation on Monday said it will raise up to Rs 400 crores through issue of bonds this week. "We are planning to raise around Rs 300-400 crores through bonds in the next seven days," PFC CMD Satnam Singh told reporters here on the sidelines of the launch of Power Exchange India Ltd. He said, "Against the target of Rs 19,300 crores for financing several power projects this fiscal, we have already disbursed Rs 9,800 crores."
