Reliance Industries Equity Shareholders & Creditors to approve Scheme of Amalgamation

Reliance Industries Ltd has informed that by an Order made on March 06, 2009, the High Court of Judicature at Bombay has directed that, separate meeting of the Equity Shareholders, Secured Creditors (including Debentureholders) and Unsecured Creditors of the Company be convened and held on April 04, 2009, for the purpose of considering and, if thought fit, approving with or without modification(s), the Scheme of Amalgamation of Reliance Petroleum Ltd with Reliance Industries Ltd.
