Hindalco Industries - Outcome of EGM

Hindalco Industries Ltd has informed that the shareholders at the Extra Ordinary General Meeting (EGM) of the Company held on November 17, 2009, have passed the Special Resolutions with regard to the following matters: 1. To issue further securities of the Company for the amount not exceeding Rs. 2900 Crores pursuant to the provisions of Section 81 (1A) of the Companies Act, 1956. 2. To increase in the limit of investment by Foreign Institutional investors (FIIs) from 24% to 40% in the Company's Equity Share Capital.
