Hindalco Industries Ltd has informed that the Committee of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on December 01, 2009 has allotted 213147391 Equity Shares of Rs. 1/- each at a premium of Rs. 129.30 to Qualified Institutional Buyers pursuant to the qualified institutions placement of the equity shares under the provisions of Chapter VIII of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Issue of Capital and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2009 ("SEBI Regulations") to Qualified Institutional Buyers ("QIBs") as defined under 2(1)(zd) of the SEBI Regulations (the "Placement")".
