NTPC - Updates

National Thermal Power Corporation Ltd (NTPC) has informed about the following:

1. For the year 2007-08, the Company has been awarded Silver Shield by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) for excellence in financial reporting under "Infrastructure & Construction sector" category.

2. Shri. A K Singhal, Director (Finance) of the Company has been adjudged as the Best CFO in the Public Sector category. The award was presented by the Committee for Members in Industry (CMII) of ICAI.
