Oil Rises a Third Day as U.S. Supplies Drop; Asia Commodity Stocks Advance

Crude oil gained for a third day after an industry report showed U.S. stockpiles declined after a hurricane in the Gulf of Mexico. Shares of Asian miners advanced, countering declines by Japanese real-estate companies.
