Templeton Quarterly Interval Plan- Plan C reduces duration of the Transaction Window

The Franklin Templeton Fund has announced that there will be change in the duration of the Transaction Window of Templeton Quarterly Interval Plan- Plan C (TQIP-Plan C), an interval income scheme, from 5 business days to 1 business day, in view of the increasing demand from investors. The forthcoming Transaction Window of Templeton Quarterly Interval Plan- Plan C will open for subscription and redemption (including switches) at NAV based prices on 22 October 2008 and will remain open for 5 business days. Subsequently, the Transaction Window will open for subscription and redemption (including switches) at NAV based prices on ongoing basis at quarterly intervals, i.e. after a period of 91 days from the date of the closure of the immediately preceding Transaction Window and will remain open for 1 business day.

Investors in Templeton Quarterly Interval Plan – Plan C are given an option to exit at the prevailing NAV without any exit load, if they do not hold investments in the scheme in due to this change in the fundamental attribute. The period of this no load exit offer is valid from 22 October 2008 to 21 November 2008. All the other terms and conditions will remain unchanged.
