Supreme Petrochem - Closure of Buy-Back

Karvy Investor Services Limited has informed vide its letter dated December 04, 2009 that "We, as the Managers to the Buyback offer of Supreme Petrochem Ltd, wish to bring to your kind notice that during the scheduled period of the buyback from Wednesday, December 31, 2008 to Friday, December 04, 2009, the Company has bought back 15,37,907 equity shares of face value of Rs. 10/- each as against the buyback quantity of 75,00,000 equity shares, approved by the Board of Directors of the Company vide Resolution passed at their meeting held on Friday, December 05, 2008. The period of twelve months from the date of passing of the said Board Resolution has been completed today. Consequent to the aforesaid buyback of 15,37,907 equity shares and as per the terms of the Public Announcement dated December 16, 2008 and Corrigendum dated December 26, 2008, the buyback offer has closed on even date i.e. Friday, December 04, 2009".
