BPCL posts net profit of Rs 58 cr

State-run Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL) has posted a net profit of Rs 58.4 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2008 as compared to Rs 670 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2007.Total income of the company has increased from Rs 24,400 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2007 to Rs 32,712 crore during the quarter.

The company has posted a net profit of Rs 1580 crore for the year ended March 31, 2008 as compared to Rs 1805 crore for the year ended March 31, 2007.

Total Income has increased from Rs 98,312 crore for the year ended March 31, 2007 to Rs 1,11,786 crore for the year ended March 31, 2008.
