Reliance Cap sells 3.5 bln rupees of bonds in Dec-Feb

Reliance Capital has raised 3.5 billion rupees through the issue of bonds between Dec. 31, 2008, and Feb. 10, 2009, the company told the stock exchange.It sold 1.5 billion rupees of 365-day bonds, carrying a coupon rate of 13 percent and maturing on Dec. 31, 2009, to Indian Bank.

Reliance Capital, part of India's Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group, also sold 1 billion rupees of 365-day bonds, with a coupon rate of 11.15 percent and maturing on Jan. 16, 2010, to Central Bank of India It placed 500 million rupees of 366-day bonds, carrying a coupon rate of 12.50 percent and maturing on Jan. 8, 2010, with Corporation Bank.

The financial services company placed another 500 milion rupees of 11 percent 365-day bonds, maturing on Feb. 11, 2010, with Bank of India.
