Elecon bags orders worth Rs 90 cr

Elecon Engineering Company has received two separate orders worth Rs 86.97 crore from Chennai-based BGR Energy Systems. The orders have been awarded to the company's Material Handling Equipment (MHE) division.

Shares of Elecon Engineering lost nearly 1 per cent on BSE to trade at Rs 77.60 during the afternoon session.

Prayasvin Patel, Chairman and Managing Director, Elecon Engineering said, “We are delighted to have procured prestigious order worth Rs. 86.97 crore. Elecon Engineering has always been in the forefront of innovations and technology in the manufacturing and engineering sector. It is a big achievement for all at Elecon and a great start for the new financial year”.
