SBI not seeking govt funds: Finmin official

State Bank of India has not sought funds from the government and is looking at alternative options to raise capital, R. Gopalan, secretary for financial services in the finance ministry, said on Tuesday.

India plans to infuse capital into some state-run banks to aid their growth.
