Sterlite Inds - Board declares Dividend & Approves Bonus Issue & Stock Split

Sterlite Industries (India) Ltd has informed that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on April 26, 2010, inter alia, has proposed a dividend of Rs. 3.75 per equity share of Rs. 2/- each for the financial year 2009-10, which is subject to the approval of the shareholders.

The Board has also proposed subject to the approval of shareholders:

i. Issue of bonus shares in the ratio of 1:1 and

ii. Sub - division / split of its equity shares of Rs. 2/- each into equity share of Rs. 1/- each
